Oh my, here it is finally, some of my closest friends got married at the beautiful rustic Cripps Barn. I have so much love for these two. I met Stephanie over a decade ago working as a graphic designer in Malvern. She walked into the small studio I was managing on her first day with the biggest smile, I knew we were going to be firm mates. We had some amazing laughs at that place, plus walking to the local shop to eat all the bags of crisps they stocked. She is my crisp buddy! I’ve never seen two people devour crisps so fast as we can!! We both parted ways with that job but definitely not from our friendship that stayed and will do forever. I’ve moved, she’s moved but distance doesn’t stop a friendship. On this day she married her love Chris, who is pretty much Stef in male form. They are so suited.
Being a graphic designer, Steph made sure that reflected in her day throughout. Mainly with stationary and adding in some quirks to the Cripps Barn. This venue is just amazing, we nearly got married here ourselves! They have open fires, beautiful land surrounding the venue and it’s not too over-worked. It lends itself to lots of foliage and wild botanicals, which Steph and Chris blended with. She also had one of our mutual friends who makes cakes do a cake table, with pretty much free reign on what she wanted to create. Oh my the cakes. Amazing! Words don’t quite do this day justice. I was super nervous as I wanted them both to have the best day and it can be a little bit overwhelming to be working whilst you witness two close friends start a new chapter of their lives. I might have cried… just like Chris!
Total happiness.
Big thanks to Lydia who second shot for me and kept me going through an emotional day! If you are getting married at Cripps Barn, don’t hesitate to get in touch I absolutely love shooting there!
